The MAX8875 low-dropout linear regulator operates from a +2.5V to +6.5V input range and delivers up to 150mA. A P-channel MOSFET pass transistor allows its 85μA supply current to remain independent of the load, making this device ideal for battery-operated portable equipment such as PCS phones, cellular phones, cordless phones,and modems.
