The MAX11120–MAX11128 are 12-/10-/8-bit with externalreference and industry-leading 1.5MHz, full linearbandwidth, high speed, low-power, serial output successive-approximation register (SAR) analog-to-digitalconverters (ADCs). The MAX11120–MAX11128 includeboth internal and external clock modes. These devicesfeature scan mode in both internal and external clockmodes. The internal clock mode features internal averagingto increase SNR. The external clock mode featuresthe SampleSetK technology, a user-programmable analoginput channel sequencer. The SampleSet approachprovides greater sequencing flexibility for multichannelapplications while alleviating significant microcontrolleror DSP (controlling unit) communication overhead.
