The MAX44006/MAX44008 integrate six sensors in twoproducts: red, green, blue (RGB) sensors; an ambientlight (clear) sensor; a temperature sensor; and an ambientinfrared sensor with an I2C interface. These highlyintegrated optical sensors include a temperature sensorto improve reliability and performance.
The devices compute the light information with six paralleldata converters allowing simultaneous light measurementin a very short time. The devices consume only15FA (MAX44006) and 16FA (MAX44008) separately inRGBC + TEMP + IR mode, and also have the ability tooperate at 1.7V to 2.0V (MAX44006) and 2.7V to 5.5Vsupply voltage (MAX44008).
